The sinusoidal projection is available as d3.geo.sinusoidal in the geo.projection D3 plugin. An interrupted version of this projection is more commonly used. The sinusoidal projection is also used by the Goode homolosine and Sinu-Mollweide projections. The Bonne projection with a standard parallel of 0° is equivalent to the sinusoidal projection.
